I'm glad I read through this entire thread. Great job, not only were you able to paint it yourself, but you also just picked up some major skills in the process.

Your not far from enjoying it.
Thanks, I’m looking very forward to getting it done. I’d also prefer the extreme package, I ordered this one roughly a month before they announced the new subframe a few years back

Thanks, I appreciate it. Painting it myself was never part of the plan, but as I learned more, and tackled the bodywork, I figured why the hell not, if I fail I just revert back to the original plan. In the end the result is great

I have been very busy with the electronics whenever I have had the chance.
In this time I’ve managed to connect the battery and actually confirm everything is operational, and after a build of this duration it is incredibly rewarding!

Classic instrument autocross gauges are installed and working! I opted for the fuel gauge between the gauges and the oil pressure and water temp will be situated above the console.
I also got the stereo working completely. Alpine Apple play double din with 4 way amplifier plus truck subwoofer mounted under the parcel shelf.

What is really nice on the dash is I found these great little 8mm dash lights on Amazon to use as full beam, indicator and engine warning lights and hidden them above and below the fuel gauge.

I also tested all body lights successfully but don’t have any pics so here’s just a few showing how she’s currently sitting.

Almost the whole engine is wired up as well and looking surprisingly neat.
