      whats a good gas shock set for a daily driver 67?

      want a good firm ride without breaking the bank on my 67 daily driver, what gas shocks sets are you guys using?Name:  IMG_9403 (1) (1).jpg

      Bilstein would be my go to for what you're looking for. I just ran KYB Gas-A-Just shocks in my car for 6 years and really liked them but they give a more factory ride. Just pulled them and switched to QA1 coil overs, nice being able to dial in ride differences when I want.

      Another vote for Bilstein here as well. I have ran them on a range of vehicles over the years (e30, Miata, Escalade), and they always gave me great results.

      I vote Bilstein for street use. Inexpensive, and they work well. You would need a little more shock for a stiff spring car that's autocrossing but even then, they aren't bad.
      Be aware if you don't have gas shocks now, the rear gas shocks will raise the rear by 1/2" due to the gas pressure. No difference in front due to the leverage of the A arm.
