holley dominator can buss question

Ive got a holley dominator that started life as a V1, the last update was V5 a few yeas ago. I move computer back to my race car which it originally was in and was going to put that tune in but cannot communicate with ecu, something happened to usb port in ecu evidently . So I was going to switch to can buss for programming. Now my problem, evidently the harness in early versions is different than newer ones. i called holley tech and they said to get cable 558-443. Only problem is thats a flat 4 style connector and my harness has a 2 pin connecter. My holley harness has 2 wires one orange and one orange/ black, the 558-443 has 2 wires , one is orange and the other is brown. Im going to just put my own connector on to match the one in the car but want to make sure to match wires correctly. Im guessing orange to orange and orange/black to brown. was wondering if anyone knew for sure. Thanks
