Spending money on it, but just to keep it stock, clean, and running as it left the factory. Recently replaced the rubber in the suspension and the factory shocks with some Bilsteins. May get the GFX touched up - the passenger side piece has lost its clear and is starting to yellow fairly quick. Doesn't show in these pics.

18" CCW Classics / BBS RS, some nice looking brakes, and a drop are still tempting, though... it already has an aftermarket muffler and a Hurst shifter is sitting in the garage still new in the box. On the fence.

Always loved your car on TGO. Can't wait to see this with some CCW's!

Figure I will bump it up and keep this alive.

Been lurking for a while. Originally signed up looking for info on doing a 67 Chevelle then decided with a baby on the way to just pickup another 3rd gen and go back to my roots.

Picked this one up last Fall. Was a low mile original car in nice shape.. Decided to take care of suspension/braking first while building a turbo 5.3L setup on the side..

So far been enjoying it. slow as sin but looks good and handles well. Need to figure something out for bump steer though. Its pretty horrible being so low and I cannot fit a bump steer kit in the front since they hit the rims. Thinking maybe a taller ball joint. Maybe that will help a bit.

I ran into a a set of ultra rare OE JDM fender flares used on some? 3rd gens for Japanese export. I had no intention on running these, but I had to "stick" them one for a couple photos. Figured If any one ever thought that they wanted the look this is a way of getting it with OE parts.

      That is all

I kinda like those Brandon. It's too bad the ends don't blend back into the fenders more though. They do a nice job of adding some bulk to the sides of the car, which is nice.

It looks cool for sure. Totally different than I have every seen on a third gen so I had to just share them with you guys.

I think that the shape of the actual flare looks better than most I have seen. The way it meets the body front and rear is not good enough for my tastes... makes me wish I knew someone that worked with fiberglass to make a mold of these cause they would look great if they could be blended into the panels.

They use a two self tapping screws into the inner edge of the fender lip, then double sided tape to the body. They are made of a foamy rubber type material, but are painted smooth. I understand the lack of time. My 9" build took every bit of my time allowance for a bit lol. I'd send them to ya to do some molding or something if you thought you could find the time. I planned on holding onto these and sell them to someone that thought they wanted them more than me since they are just weird rare here in the states.

OK guys. I would normally never do this but please vote for the GTA! ( early and often, like dead people in Chicago...)
It's the only 3rd gen in the contest...

I know a lot of you are not into the show stuff so much, but I had to share a nice pic of my 91 at the Denver Super Chevy show over the weekend. I'll be back there this weekend running an autocross

I'd hardly call that the usual stuff. Nice car.
