Boost reference needed or not???
I'm building a 383 roller motor with 8.5 to 9:1 compression and adding an Edelbrock Eforce supercharger. It will only be putting out 5-6 lbs. of boost so the question is; "can I run a standard Holley carb or do I need a boost referenced carb"? This is going in a 32 Ford Highboy which will only be street driven with the occasional mash on the throttle. I plan to run an 800 CFM carb and would really appreciate some experienced feedback on this question.
